How are
students selected?
Students are selected through an equal opportunity lottery.
If
one of my children is selected in the lottery, are my
remaining children automatically accepted?
Yes, provided
there is space in the grade for the child.
If my child is not selected, do they
remain on the waiting list?
Yes, they will
remain on the waiting list for the remainder of the school
year. Periodically, spaces may become available in a grade and
the next student on the waiting list is notified of the opening.
Do
you accept ESE, ESOL and children with special needs?
Yes, providing the
special needs can be met at Dayspring Academy.
What
time does school start and end?
Elementary School:
8:15 AM - 2:45 PM; Middle School: 8:00 AM - 3:16 PM.

Yes, Dayspring
students have the same vacations as the
other Pasco County Schools.

We offer grades
K-8.

is your enrollment school wide?
Our enrollment is
approximately 490 students.
What is the
Dress Code?
K-5:
White or light blue polo shirts; Navy blue UNIFORM bottoms: pants,
knee-length skirts, skorts, or jumpers. Please wear comfortable, closed toe
shoes.
6-8: White or light blue polo
shirts;
Navy blue or Khaki UNIFORM bottoms: knee-length skirts, skorts,
or jumpers. Please wear comfortable, closed toe
shoes.
Where
can I buy uniforms?
Uniforms with the
Dayspring logo can be purchased directly from
www.frenchtoast.com. Uniforms without the Dayspring
logo may
be purchased from Target, Sears, JC Penny’s, or Beall’s. |
