Application Process
We thank you for you
interest in becoming an employee of Dayspring Academy.
Dayspring Academy is a public school that is run by a
private Board of Directors. Therefore, Dayspring
employees are not employees of the Pasco County School
District.
If you
would like to be considered for employment at Dayspring
Academy, please submit a resume to our Middle School
office located at: Dayspring

After your
resume has been reviewed, you will be contacted regarding any
available positions that would suit your qualifications, and an
interview date will be set. If a position is not
available at the time of inquiry, your resume will be kept
on file for the remainder of the school year. After an
interview has been completed and it is established that a
match has been found, you will need to follow the
application procedures.
A. Application packets are located at the middle school
office for Instructional personnel and Non-Instructional
personnel. Job description and department are determined
by the administrator at time of hiring.
B. An applicant must make an appointment to see the Human
Resources Director upon completion of the application.
C. The completed application is submitted to
administration and references are verified.
D. Once references are verified the newly hired employees
must be fingerprinted by the District School Board of
Pasco County at employee’s expense.
E. If the fingerprinting proves to be cleared and no
record is found, the employee will be hired officially and
be placed in a 90-day probation period. All new teachers
are automatically placed with a mentor to be monitored and
given feedback during the first year of employment.
