If a position is not available at the time of inquiry, your
resume will be kept on file for the remainder of the school year.
After an interview has
been completed and it is established that a match has been found, you
will need to follow the application procedure.
A. Application packets are located at the
middle school office for Instructional personnel and Non-Instructional
personnel. Job description and department are determined by the
administrator at time of hiring.
B. Merit Resources provides Dayspring
Academy the financial packet needed for hiring. This packet will
include Health Insurance benefits for eligible employees.
C. An applicant must make an appointment to
see the Human Resources Director upon completion of the application.
D. The completed application is submitted to
administration and references are verified.
E. Once
references are verified the newly hired employees must be
fingerprinted by the District School Board of Pasco County at
employee’s expense.
F. If the fingerprinting proves to be cleared
and no record is found, the employee will be hired officially and be
placed in a 90-day probation period.
All new teachers are automatically placed with a mentor to be
monitored and given feedback during the first year of employment.
