Gayle Barr Elementary Principal Email: gbarr@dsa2000.org
Gayle has a BA Degree in Elementary Education K-6TH and Specific Learning Disabilities K-12. She comes to work each day with a thankful heart because she has the opportunity to work with the best students and teachers  in the world. 100 years from now she wants to be known for what was accomplished in the lives of the children.
Yamilka Delgardo Middle School Principal  Email: ydelgardo@dsa2000.org
Yamilka was born in the Caribbean Peninsula of Dominican Republic and came to the United States when she was 9 years old.  She lived in the Boston, Massachusetts area for the larger percentage of her life, and was privileged enough to receive her education there.  She received her B.S. in Elementary Education from Lesley University in Cambridge.  Yamilka taught for three years before deciding to continue her education; she completed her Master’s in August of 2007.  She is overjoyed to be at Dayspring.
John Legg  Business Administrator  
John Legg was a co-founder Dayspring Academy in the year 2000 and is now on staff at Dayspring as the business administrator.   He also serves as the Chairman of the Pre-K-12 Policy Committee in the Florida House of Representatives. John was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2004 and is currently serving his third term.  He is a certified History teacher, receiving his Bachelor’s of Social Science degree from the University of South Florida and is also enrolled in the Master’s of Public Administration Program.

Suzanne is a native New Yorker who spent a portion of her childhood in Surrey, England.  She received a BA degree from Stony Brook University in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Studies.  Suzanne became a teacher in New York teaching third and fourth graders.  After relocating to Florida, Suzanne worked in music and productions for several years before co-founding Dayspring Academy.  Suzanne has served as the Administrator of Dayspring since its inception in 2000.

Lisa was born in St. Petersburg, Florida. She is married and has 2 children who have attended Dayspring Academy since Kindergarten.  She was a Licensed Nurse for 28 years before volunteering many hours in the classroom and as coordinator of Student Council. She is thrilled to have joined the Dayspring team as a Para for 1st and 2nd grade.

Diane was born and raised in the mid-west, moving to Florida in 1986. After working in the legal field with future State Representative Larry Crow, she spent the next 14 years working in the medical field, managing Chiropractic and Multi-Disciplinary offices before starting her own medical billing service. After the birth of her two wonderful daughters, Diane decided to devote her time to her family and home. After spending 9 years as a parent volunteer at Dayspring, she decided to join the amazing staff who has helped her children grow in character and education, so that she can do the same for others.

Lizett was born in Long Island, New York and moved to Florida at the age of 10.  She attended college for over 3 years and was promoted to Regional Assistant for a retail company.  Lizett, however, decided to decline the manager position for a better job - to be homemaker for her three children.  Now she is a Para for for First grade and enjoys every minute with the children.

Marcia was born and raised in Cridersville, Ohio.  She received her AA degree from Valencia Community College in Orlando FL.  She is married with two great kids and has had the pleasure of being a stay-at-home mom until her youngest started kindergarten last year.  This is her second year at Dayspring.  She absolutely loves being with the kids.  Working at Disney for 5 years has given her the ability to help teach in an entertaining and fun way.

April was born and raised in Central Pennsylvania.  After moving to FL to work at Walt Disney World where she starred in many roles with one of her favorites being Kermit the Frog at Disney MGM Studios.  While in Orlando, she met her husband Scott and then moved to New Port Richey, FL and has lived here for the last 16 years.  Prior to joining the Dayspring family, April's work experience includes JPMorganChase Human Resources and COO of the Goodger family (a role she is still enjoying).  April loves being with her husband and two daughters, Kendyl and Logan, and playing favorite Aunt to her 13 nieces and nephews.

Yolanda was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri.  Right after high school she went into the Navy and was honorably discharged  after 11 years of service as she wanted to get out to raise her children.  She worked at Cotee River Elementary prior to coming onboard at Dayspring.  Yolanda started at Dayspring when they first started and worked for 3 years as a Kindergarten Para.  She left for three years to home school one of her children, and Yolanda is happy to be back at Dayspring once again.
 
Grace Heyns Para-Professional  
Grace was born and raised in New York.  After she and her husband were married, they moved to New Mexico and raised five children.  She has a Masters in Theology and Christian counseling.  She has been working at Dayspring for the past few years. Grace loves working with the students and helping their teachers in all aspects of developing students who will excel in academics and life.
 
Buffie Jenkins Maintenance  
I am a native Floridian and a graduate of Ridgewood High School 1988.  I have a wonderful family, my husband (Ward) and three boys.  I enjoy working here at Dayspring Elementary.

Deborah was born in Long Island, New York and moved here when she was seven.  She has been married for over 12 years and has three beautiful children.  Deborah was a stay home mom; however, after volunteering at Dayspring for the last 5 years, she thought it would be wonderful to work in such a loving environment. She feels blessed to be working with such great people and being a part of the children's lives.

Michelle is originally from Boston, Massachusetts where she earned her certificate for interior design.  After marring her husband, Jack in 1991 they moved to Palm Beach, Florida. She worked as a manager for the Ritz Carlton Hotel until deciding to move to Bayonet Point in 1995  to start their own family. After volunteering everyday at Dayspring, Michelle decided this would be an awesome place to work and be involved with her girls. She has worked as a  Kindergarten Para with a wonderful teacher for many years.  Michelle feels blessed to work with so many wonderful people who have had a hand in making my girls become who they are today and she could not ask for anything more.

Cheryl was born and raised outside of Buffalo, NY and moved to Holiday with her family in 1993.  For the past 12 years, she has been an active Real Estate agent.  Cheryl has enjoyed her children's experiences with Dayspring and looks forward to a great year!

Tina was born and raised in a small town in Kansas, moved to Minnesota when she was sixteen, and then to New Port Richey.  In 2008, Tina attended the F.I.R.E. School of Ministry in North Carolina where she received her Bachelors in Theology.  She has worked with kids of all ages at many places including a daycare,  children's church, and with youth groups.   Tina is happy to be part of a wonderful school like Dayspring.

Jennifer has spent most of her life living in both Florida and Southern California and she very much enjoys both locations.  She enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, and doing crafts with her children.  Jennifer began working at Dayspring in 2008 and this year, she thoroughly enjoys being in the classroom.

Sue was born and raised in Michigan. She moved to Florida at age 11 and has lived in New Port Richey since 1997. Sue is married, has three children, and is also a foster mom. She loves children, and is thrilled to have the opportunity to work at Dayspring. Sue has an Associates degree, and desires to continue her training in the Education field.

Ms. Scott joined Dayspring Academy after relocating from Maryland where she enjoyed an almost 40-year career in school administration ranging from the non-profit special education venue to higher education at The Johns Hopkins University.  She and her husband settled in Land O' Lakes to be near her daughter and two grandsons.  Ms. Scott enthusiastically looks forward to contributing to the lives and educational endeavors of the Dayspring students and families.

Sheila came to Florida from Pittsburgh, PA in 1999 after visiting relatives here on vacation.  She originally received a degree in Culinary Arts, then became a stay-at-home Mom until her youngest of three entered school. After logging many volunteer hours at Dayspring, she officially joined the team as a 1st grade Para in 2004.  She  loves her job, especially the great people (both big and small) that she gets to know!

Lee Ann spent the first 18 years of her life in a tiny little town in Montana.  She left the Big Sky state to land a recording deal in California.  Now you can hear her singing in the lunchroom at the Elementary School, and Lee Ann sings several nights a week locally.  She has been a Dayspring parent for many years and has also taught vocals as well as been a substitute teacher.  Lee Ann loves the interaction with the children each day and is blessed to be part of the Dayspring family.

Soozie has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University.  For a large portion of her life, she has worked with children of all different ages in many capacities.  Although associated with Dayspring for many years, Soozie is now enjoying her assignment at the Elementary Campus working as 5th grade Para. She is excited to be part of the Dayspring team.
Ryan Thoma Maintenance   

I was raised most of my life in Florida. I am a Ridgewood High School graduate where I played football in school.  I am thankful to be here at Dayspring Academy.

Monica was born in Mexico City. There, she studied Biochemical Engineering. She worked for Coca-Cola for five years where she met her husband. She came to the United States  in 1995 and has two wonderful children.  She has really been blessed with the wonderful family, including Dayspring.

Dawn was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas.  She was in the Air Force for 6 years as a Farsi Cryptologic Linguist and worked with the National Security Agency at Fort Gordon, Ga.  She completed most of her education at the University of Central Florida, and eventually received a Bachelor’s degree from Excelsior College.  Dawn taught 1st grade in Duncanville, TX and is grateful to be teaching 1st grade at Dayspring.

Kelly is originally from North Carolina and received her degree from Western Carolina University.  Once she moved to Florida, she began working in the public school system.  Her interest peaked as soon as she heard about a charter school that would be opening up.  She applied for a job and was hired.  Needless to say, Dayspring has turned out to be one of the best things in her life!

Sheila was born and raised in upstate New York. She attended Rochester Institute of Technology and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management.  She, her husband and two children made the move to Florida thirteen years ago.  Sheila began working in the school system as a substitute teacher when her son was in  Kindergarten.  Dayspring has been a blessing for her to work at.  She truly knows she is in the right place, doing the right thing with her life!

Kelly was born in Laconia, NH but was raised in New Port Richey, FL.  She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Trinity College and has taken classes at St. Petersburg College of Education.  She came to Dayspring to make a difference in the lives of children; besides, she would be in a looney bin if she was not able to act crazy in the classroom.

Cecilia was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts.  She studied Latin American Studies at Columbia University in New York City where she received a BA in Regional Studies.  Upon graduation, she entered the field of Community Health Center Administration specifically working with the diverse Latino populations of Cambridge, MA and the Greater Boston Area.  She began working at Dayspring Academy in August of 2006 as a 3rd grade Para-Professional and now is a 4th grade teacher.

Dan was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts where he attend Lexington High School, the University of Massachusetts-Boston, and graduated from Boston University where he earned his B.S. in Social Science.  While at Boston University, Dan was the captain of his basketball team.  He spent many years volunteering and teaching the youth in my community and taught P.E. for several years at the Boston Renaissance in downtown Boston.  Giving back to the community has been something Dan has loved and enjoyed for many years, and many more to come.

Kari was born in South Bend, Indiana, but has lived in Pasco County, FL since she was 3 years old.  Kari attended the University of Central FL where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.  Kari taught Head Start Pre-Kindergarten at Hudson Elementary School from 1996-1999.  She was also a Head Start Pre-K Resource teacher for the Pasco County School District from 1999-2001.  She was a stay at home mother from 2001-2008.  After her children went to school she taught at St. Thomas Aquinas Early Childhood Center for one year before joining the Dayspring Team!  She loves being a part of a such a great staff!

Wendy was born and raised in Tampa, Florida.  She attended Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, where she received two bachelors of Arts degrees in Deaf Education and Elementary Education.  Wendy continued her education and pursued a Masters of Arts degree in Communication Disorders from Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, Louisiana.  She has enjoyed being a Speech Language Pathologist for the past 12 years and feels very blessed to be at Dayspring Academy where she has the opportunity to work with such a wonderful group of teachers, students and families.

Jean, a New Yorker, was born and raised on Long Island.  She received her B.A. in Elementary Education at the State University at Oneonta and later earned her masters degree at Stony Brook University on Long Island.  After marrying and having 3 beautiful children, the family moved to Florida in 1989.  After teaching at several Pasco elementary schools, she was hired at Dayspring Academy as their first Kindergarten teacher. Teaching at Dayspring has been the highlight of her teaching career.

Diana was born in Louisville, Kentucky and came to Florida in 2000 with her husband and two children.  She received her degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and obtained her registered dental hygiene license in Kentucky and Florida.  Diana practiced clinical dental hygiene for 6 years before furthering her education.   Diana feels blessed to be apart of Dayspring.

Tim was born in Boston, Massachusetts.  He attended Illinois State University and later received his BBA from McKendree University.  Tim moved to the sunny state of Florida in 2000 with his wife and two children, Hope and Jake.  He enjoys spending time with his family and also has a passion for music.  After spending his entire professional career in the business world, Tim realized his desire to teach our future leaders of America.  Tim is thrilled to be a part of Dayspring!

Carmen was born in Maine and raised mainly in Virginia. She moved to Florida in 1998.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida in 2006. She is certified in Elementary Education K-6, Exceptional Student Education and is ESOL endorsed.  Her husband is a local high school teacher and Carmen has three wonderful children, two daughters and a son.  She is excited and blessed to be part of the Dayspring family.

Anne was born and grew up in New Jersey.  She attended Michigan State University and met her husband Steve during her senior year.  After they were married they moved to Florida, North Carolina, Michigan  and finally back to Florida.  Anne was fortunate that after teaching for four years she was able to stay home and raise her two sons and daughter.  When she returned to teaching she earned her National Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood Education.   She has enjoyed being part of the Dayspring family!

In 2003, Faye earned her B.A. from Trinity College, graduating as the valedictorian of her class.  She then served for five years as a 3rd grade teacher at Spring Christian Academy where she enjoyed implementing unique strategies to assist her students increase their understanding.  She looks forward to meeting new students and their families and working together with them throughout the school year and looks forward to offering her students a quality educational experience that is conductive to student success and development.

Julie was born and raised in Emmaus, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina with a BA degree in Communication Arts with a Minor in Theater and Dance.  She came upon teaching by being in the right place at the right time when asked to develop a theater and dance program for a North Carolina High School.  There she taught until she married and moved to Hillsborough County where she taught Drama and Performance Art, all while obtaining her teaching certificate. She now is excited to teach Dance and Drama at the Elementary school where her two children attend.

Katie grew up in Florida and graduated with a degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Florida.  Go Gators!  She then worked at horse camps in Maryland and Ohio.  Upon returning to Florida, Katie soon learned her passion was for children. She was led to Dayspring where she has been able to grow and develop as a teacher.  She now has her certification in Elementary Education and Agriculture 6-12.  She looks forward to many years of encouraging kids to grow in character.

Sally is a native, born and raised in Clearwater, Florida!  She earned an Associate’s Degree from St. Petersburg Junior College (now St. Petersburg College) in Mass Communications.  She moved to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area in North Carolina to attend the University of North Carolina, where she earned her B.S. degree in Special Education.  She has also attended the University of South Florida to add areas of certification to her teaching certificate.  Sally enjoys the challenge of teaching at Dayspring.

Jodi was born and raised in snowy Milwaukee, WI.  She attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA where she received a full scholarship to sing and study Vocal Performance.  While in college, she traveled and sang throughout the USA, as well as internationally.  Jodi has a BA in Music and is certified to teach Music K-12.  Her passions are her husband and sons, Broadway Musicals, and Marble Slab Ice Cream, but not always in that order! Jodi's goal is to help students develop a love for the Arts, which research has shown, will benefit them in countless ways!  
 Middle School Support Staff

Jackie Dennis Transportation  

Jackie moved from Syracuse, NY to Port Richey in 1980.  She started in the transportation industry in Syracuse in 1970 and continued when she moved to Pasco County.  She recently retired from the Pasco district, completing 28 years of service.  Her passion for driving school buses is not over, as she enjoys the students at Dayspring Academy.

Patricia was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL.  Her father was in the army, which allowed her to live overseas, up north, out west and down south. She worked for 16 years in the banking industry followed by 14 years at a large church.  Patricia loves to ride her race bike on the Starkey Park trail...and loves being at Dayspring Academy.

Natalie was born and raised in Goshen, Indiana.  There she attended Indiana University to pursue a degree in Political Science.  Natalie moved to Florida in 2002 when she married her husband Franklin.  She enjoys working at Dayspring with so many truly wonderful people and finds each day fulfilling.

Jane was born in Fridley, Minnesota.  She attended  3 years of college at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, majoring in Speech Pathology/Audiology.  While in school she started working for Norwegian Cruise  Line as a Youth Coordinator, and later as a full time hostess where met and worked with her future husband.   She is the proud mother of 4 beautiful girls and her family is her passion in life.  Jane has had the privilege of working at Dayspring for many years.  She knew she wanted to be part of this magnificent team.
Norman Garcia Transportation  
Norman was born and raised in Rhode Island and is a retired Greyhound bus driver.  He also served in the Marine Corp as a radio operator for 6 years.  He has also compiled 6 years of experience as a bus driver for the pubic school system.  His favorite sport is foot ball, and Sunday is the best day of the week because he can relax and enjoy the Buccaneers playing.
John Hayes Transportation

John is originally from London, England.  He is the proud father of 6 children, and has worked in transportation for many years.

Peggy grew up in Charleston, South Carolina.  She moved to Florida about 10 years ago and is the proud mother of two children.  Peggy enjoys interacting with the students every day. 
Linda Norris Front Office - Middle School Email: lnorris@dsa2000.org

Linda Norris was born in Perth Amboy, N.J.  Mother of Margaret Mary King Irish decent, Father of Angel Juanes, of Spanish decent. Linda moved to Florida in 1986 shortly after graduating  from Thomas Alva Edison Technical High school where she studied cosmetology.  She married Doug Norris, a native Floridian in 1990. Doug and Linda have a beautiful daughter Binaka Faith born in Nepal, Asia, who is now 7yrs old and a awesome kid and Dayspring student at our Elementary School.  Something you may not know about Linda is that she worked at a Nathan's Hot Dog stand in Middle School and wore the 1970’s hot dog uniform you may see on some TV retro commercials.

Robert Plourde Maintenance  
Bob was born in Massachusetts and before moving to Florida, he was an independent contractor for thirty-five years.  He served our country in the United States Marine Corp. Bob has been happily married for forty-five years and is happy to be a part of Dayspring.

Patti was born and raised in upstate New York.  She then moved to Massachusetts where she spent a few decades raising her own family.  Patti is now enjoying her years here in sunny Florida.
Margaret Walker Front Office - Middle School Email: mwalker@dsa2000.org
Margaret moved to Florida in 1980 and went to work for Johnson & Johnson in Tampa, Fl, where she employed for 14 years, until the birth of her first child. During her career at Johnson & Johnson, Margaret held the positions of Accountant, Convention and Marketing Coordinator, and Project Leader for their Field Sales automation project. After taking a year off to raise her son, she returned to J&J as a consultant in their Finance department where she stayed until the birth of her daughter.  Margaret also served as Dayspring’s PACT President for 1 ½ years. Margaret is proud to say the Walker family has been part of the Dayspring family for 9 years.

Anthony Zizzo Maintenance Manager 
Anthony (Tony) was born in Lakewood, New Jersey. He worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for the New Jersey school system for many years before moving out west to Arizona. Tony and his family moved to Pasco County in 1996. Tony has been happily married to Becky for many years and they are blessed with two great kids, Gina and Joey! Tony loves football, fishing and being outdoors. 
 Middle School Teachers

Terri Bowman was born in Toledo, Ohio and raised in a northern suburb in Temperance, Michigan.  GO BLUE!  She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Toledo with a BS in Elementary Education and a specialization in Early Childhood.  Her first teaching position was teaching gifted students in grades 3-6 in Lucas County, Ohio in the late 80’s.  In 2001 she came here to teach at Dayspring Academy because she wanted herself and her children to be a part of the Dayspring family.

Humanities
Kelly was born in New Port Richey, Florida and has lived in the area for most of her life. She attended Gulf Middle School, Gulf High School, and received her Bachelor's Degree from Trinity College of Florida. She currently holds certification in K-6 and Middle grades integrated curriculum. She has taught the Humanities curriculum and has been involved in the Dayspring Arts Department for many years. Her visions as a teacher is to lead students to appreciate the Arts and grow in knowledge and character.

Michael was born in New Port Richey, FL where he has lived his entire life.  He graduated from Trinity College in 2003 and married his wife Kelly in 2004.  Michael is happy to be part of the Dayspring family.

Laura was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and moved to Florida in 1980.  She settled in here and now has 3 children who are almost grown.  She went to college after having the girls, at St. Pete Junior College (now St. Pete College) earning her AA degree.  She then went on to USF where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.  She was later certified in Middle School Math as well.  She sat in on Mrs. Legg’s first orientation meeting for Dayspring and knew that this was the school to be part of.

Keith is from New Jersey and California, but went to college at both Florida State and The University of Tampa, where he graduated with a degree in Computer Science.  After graduating, he turned his attention to animation and worked in that field for 12 years, winning several Telly awards and was nominated for an Emmy.  In 2005, he became a teacher for Dayspring and is thrilled to be able to share his love of Science and Animation with the students.

Lora graduated from the University of Tampa with a BA in Communications and Political Science.  She received her Professional Educator's Certificate in Middle Grades 5-9 Integrated Curriculum (which covers Social Studies, Language Arts, Math and Science) and Middle Grades 5-9 Social Science.  Lora is thrilled to be sharing her love of History and Humanities with the middle school students.

Erin was born in California but has lived most of her life in the Tampa Bay area. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in History and Spanish from Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL.  She completed an internship with the National Museum of American History in their Program in Latino History and Culture and lived abroad in Argentina for a summer. She is excited to have joined the Dayspring family and to share her love of the Spanish language with her students!

Colleen was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She earned her B.A. in Visual Arts from Fordham University in New York City. She then attended the Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan where she earned her  degree in Culinary Arts. In March of 2007, she moved to Florida where she worked as a chef in an upscale Safety Harbor restaurant. She is loving every minute of her new career and could not imagine life without her students.

Maria was born in New York and moved to the Sunshine State in 2005 to become part of the Dayspring team. She received her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and a Masters in Arts during her years in New York.

Nitza was born and raised in New Jersey.  She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida in 1999 completing an internship under former U.S. Senator Bob Graham.  She is certified in social studies grades 5-9 and has started work on her masters degree, hoping to complete it within the next few years.  It is her pleasure to teach here and share her excitement for social studies with her students.

Andie was born and raised in Northwestern Pennsylvania, and lived in Pittsburgh from 1999-2007 (Go Steelers!) She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Robert Morris University with a BS in Elementary Education, as well as a being certified in Language arts grades 5-9.  Andie, along with her husband and two daughters, moved to New Port Richey in the fall of 2007 and she enjoys everything about living here.   She is so excited to be a part of Dayspring Academy and considers teaching Middle School Language Arts her “Dream Job!” She is thrilled to be able to make a difference in the lives of young people and to encourage them to become life-long learners.

Jordan Mor, a native New Yorker, obtained his first B.A. in Music Composition from the State University of New York, Purchase College.  He later learned Modern and Ancient Greek in Greece, studied and performed Byzantine music for years and obtained his 2nd B.A. in Social Theology and Philosophy from the University of Athens. Jordan also worked for years as a computer technician, web designer and piano teacher.  He is currently certified in Music K-12 and Math 5-9 and is thrilled to teach at Dayspring Academy.

Jenna is a recent graduate and newlywed from New Port Richey. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies at Florida Gulf Coast University.  She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, point, and modern dance for the last 15 years and has been teaching dance for the last 4 years. Jenna's accomplishments include being a 2004 All-Star Dancer nominee at a national cheer & dance camp, a 2005 Best Performing Artist scholarship recipient for Pasco County, former FGCU dance team member, and a semi-finalist for the NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneer cheerleaders.  She is excited to be at Dayspring and her goal is to inspire and bring out the best in her students!

Muriel was born in Erie, Pennsylvania.  She attended Grand Rapids Baptist College in Michigan for her Bachelor’s degree and Edinboro University in Pennsylvania for her teaching certificate.  She has taken masters level courses in library science.  She has been teaching for over 26 years and spent a year as a college librarian.  Since coming to Florida, she has completed the reading endorsement requirements for teaching reading. She hopes to share that love for reading with the students at Dayspring.   
Bernece White ESE/Language Arts Email: bwhite@dsa2000.org

Bernece was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and spent most of her childhood at the Jersey shore.  She graduated from Stockton State College with a degree in Biology.  She worked for Donald Trump and was not fired, but quit to move to Florida.  She was inspired to pursue her teacher certification after volunteering at Dayspring. Bernece feels privileged to work with the awesome Dayspring students and their families.
